I have been involved with Transition Town Marlow since its inception in 2009, it has been a huge pleasure to be involved
with the Marlow Community Market since it’s birth in May 2013.
I have lived in Marlow since 2008 and love doing my big bit for the environment here.
I built my eco-house with my husband, lowering our carbon emissions continues to be a passion of mine, along with pottery,
Buddhism, bee-keeping and gardening.
Market day particularly appeals to me and I’ve helped from the start. Being able to share ideas once a month with people interested in the
community keeps transition’s feet on the ground. I enjoy cycling in the Chilterns, and want to bring here bike provisions I see on tours abroad. Energy’s technical aspects interest me as an engineer and the money we save at home through conservation helps fund travel, frequently by train.
